shell stitch crochet - have fun while crocheting

A crocheted afghan is a great gift for family and friends. Granny squares have been made into everything from large afghans to tiny doll sweaters and everything in between.

Generally, it is wound on a small core resulting in a compact ball with high yardage. Once you've learnt and got the hang of crocheting, you'd be keen to develop more complicated designs and articles. If you are working with specific colors, you can not guarantee that you will be able to color match exactly the yarn you have been using.

For the more fashion conscious are magazines which display the latest in crocheting trends. So all you need to get going is to find a pattern that includes the stitches that you know, the materials and the right crochet hook or hooks and you are good to go. Although this may sound complicated in practise it is very easy to do.

Choose your yarn and get started. Everyone can learn to crochet, practice up!
